Building a Book Launch as a Busy Mom: Real Talk on Marketing, Motherhood, and Momentum
After caring for two sick babies, a sick husband, and my sick 84-year-old aunt, I have decided I can do anything.
I decided the same thing after both of my uncomfortable pregnancies and ridiculously long labors.
This is why I am staying committed to writing daily and to slowly spreading the word about my next book.
My next book is for moms!
I don’t have the time, energy, or interest in creating another social media account geared towards moms. There are already so many moms doing this.
However, I would love to talk to the moms who are already creating valuable content for moms.
Wouldn’t that be amazing?!
That’s the next dream.
If you’re a mom creating content to help other moms in the trenches, I’d love to hear from you. Maybe the stars will align and magic will connect us and we can uplift more moms together.
I know all of this happens one tiny step at a time. I’ve learned with the release of my past 3 books that you cannot just put a book out with no marketing plan.
With my last book, Empowered Choices: A Guide to Healing Head and Neck Pain, I did hire someone to help me market. She got me in a couple of articles and created this fun interview reel.
I didn’t sell any books from it, but I took a step in the right direction.
This time I’m going to do more.
I’m going to reach out to moms before I publish, get book reviews form them. I have a tiny book launching plan sand when the time is right, I will release it into this world and pray it finds its way into the hands of pregnant moms, moms with newborns, toddlers, and moms who feel lonely, scared, and tired. Oh, so tired! Yet they continue on doing the impossible every day.
I can’t wait!
Also, this time I’ll be sharing my book reveals when I get to that part. Right now, I’m having a few people read the book and give me their feedback.
One woman said,
It’s a very real depiction of motherhood. I also feel so much compassion coming through. For all moms and for all the different paths we take. ~Erin
If you’re someone interested in reading a few chapters or the whole book and offering your feedback or a review, let me know.
I’d love to have you be a part of this book’s journey with me.
Love always,
Danielle Mallett
