This is your life
Don’t let anyone or any voices in your head steal it from you.
This is it.
If you’re stuck in a vortex of fear, anxiety, self-doubt or any other emotion that is robbing you of enjoying these precious and challenging moments in your life then it’s time to focus.
Focus on what is here now.
Focus on your breath.
There were so many times I felt lonely and sad before I met my husband and had my kids.
I still feel that way sometimes.
When I felt like that all the time though I would force myself to put down my phone.
I wouldn’t let my self scroll mindlessly.
I was disciplined with my mind.
I wasn’t willing to let distractions carry me away for longer than an hour or two maximum a day.
Sometimes I watched funny shows or dramatic shows to get out of my
Head, but I stayed off social media and only went on dating sites for little bits at a time.
I didn’t even start social media until the pandemic really. Anyway, it’s all too distracting. Too time consuming. Too one dimensional.
I want to be here for my life. To see the looks on. Y kids faces when they react to all the little things like the fat squirrel chasing them or the dead squirm in the road.
I want to absorb all these little moments as they happen and not let fear of losing it consume me. Not let the fear of uncertainty destroy the beauty that is here now.
This life is fragile and it’s the only one we get so,
Make the best of it.
This is your life. Who knows how long any of us are going to get. That’s why it matters that we focus now on what we most want in our life’s.
More peace, always more peace and awareness and playfulness for me.
