Stories That Stuck
Recently, at a book club, my friend asked what kind of books I like.
This was after months of me disliking most of the books we read.
I drew a blank, but now they are coming back to me.
Here are some phenomenal books that immediately transported me into another world.
Fiction Books
“The White Oleander,” by Janet Fitch
“Giovanni’s Room” by James Baldwin
“Short Stories…..” by Henry Dumas
“The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green
“The Crank Series” by Ellen Hopkins
“The Help” by Kathryn Stockett
Nonfiction Books
“Make Trouble” by Cecile Richards
“All the Way to the River” by Elizabeth Gilbert
“The Glass Castle” by Jeannette Walls
“On the Road” by Gloria Steinem
“Unbound” by Tarana Burke (the woman who started #metoo)
“Angry Girls Will Get Us Through” by Meg Freitag
“Come As You Are: Revised & Updated” by Emily Nagoski

If you have read any of these or are finding them for the first time, I’d love to hear about it.
Love Always,
